UNIT 1

In this Unit you will meet Lucy the ladybird and her friends, you learn how to say hello and goodbye, you identify different classroom objects, you learn how to say what they have got in their pencil case and you learn how to ask to borrow things.

You will listen to the story "Lucy's new pencil case" where all the other bugs in Lucy's class ask to borrow the things in her pencil case.

You will sing and act out the songs "Can I borrow your rubber, please?" and "The centipede song" and the chant "I've got a pencil".

In addition, you will make and play games with your classroom object vocabulary cards; you make your own minibook and retell the story with it; you practise making a specific sound by saying Annie's Rap; and you learn about insects and other bugs.
