UNIT 1

During the course of this unit you will learn to talk about playing musical instruments; you read and understand texts about different types of music and instruments from around the world; you write a short text about a pop star or musician. You will read a story about a pop competition and you will listen to and act out and interview with musicians from Bugs Band. You will listen to two songs: "I'm a pop star" and "The skateboard queen".

Likewise, you will judge the songs; you talk about types of music you like; you develop your own awareness of spelling and sound patterns with Bug Phonics and you have fun saying the tongue twister.
